Job Description:
The Senior System Analyst will support the delivery of complex
enterprise Information Technology solutions that use Microsoft, ERP
and Cloud Computing technologies working as part of a team. This is
a hands-on role that requires the delivery of program deliverables
and requires, the SSA to have a technical background with prior
development and infrastructure support experience. Must have the
demonstrated ability to understand business requirements, analyze
and create system requirements, create high quality technical
deliverables for complex enterprise systems that include Microsoft
technologies such as SharePoint, CRM, ERP Systems, Cloud Computing
Platforms, Identity Management, Data Management and Security
amongst others. Must have a strong client service and delivery
oriented mindset and demonstrate the ability to provide innovative
solutions to complex problems. Specific roles and responsibilities
include, but not limited to:
Role
• Demonstrate strong understanding of complex enterprise systems
including architecture, systems requirements, systems design,
systems development lifecycle and management
• Understand and analyze business requirements and translate into
system requirements captured in project deliverables including
system design architecture, systems requirements and management
deliverables
• Must have strong demonstrable understanding and working
experiences with industry recognized system development and IT
services delivery methodologies such as ITIL, RUP or Agile Delivery
frameworks
• Strong process understanding of developing and delivering complex
IT systems that include requirements discovery, design,
implementation, testing and deployment activities
• Focused on meeting project commitments, including communications
with customers, stakeholders, and helping co-ordinate and test the
internal delivery of the solution.
• Be strong team player with the ability to multi-task and support
assigned project tasks and activities with minimal supervision and
training
Technical Knowledge and Experience:
• Lead in the discovery and design phases of a complex project and
demonstrate the ability to discover and document requirements.
• Participate and contribute in the design and testing phases of
the project by performing product research, analyzing solution
alternatives, drafting recommendations and helping drive customers
to decisions.
• Facilitate the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and
resource requirements; identify and document any delivery and
solution risks.
• Facilitate the definition of service levels and customer
requirements.
• Interact regularly with existing or potential customers to
determine their needs and to develop plans for improving
delivery.
• Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement
changes.
• Follow a defined, agreed upon project management methodology
• Perform testing and validation of the developed solution with the
ability to perform simple technical tasks like logging into
systems, generating test data, writing testing scripts/test cases
and helping ensure the integrity of the developed solution.
• Be willing to contribute and assist in management related
activities for small to medium sized project efforts.
Qualifications and Technical Skills:
• At least 8 years of increasingly responsible experience,
including experience successfully managing various projects.
• Strong knowledge and experience in SDLC methodologies, Agile
Methodology preferred
• Ability to grasp information technology concepts and
processes.
• Working knowledge of existing and emerging technologies such as
Microsoft SharePoint, Cloud Computing especially AWS and Azure.
• Strong aptitude for effective leadership.
• Bachelor?s degree required
• PMP certification preferred
• ITIL certification preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills and
experience
